Call for Project Ideas launched for Skills projects in the South of Scotland

The Borderlands Partnership has launched a call for project ideas focussing on investment in skills infrastructure in the South of Scotland. Up to £7million of capital funding will be available for investment in projects that will support the future skills needs of the Borderlands area whilst complementing other Deal activity. Projects will also contribute to achieving the vision of the South of Scotland Regional Economic Strategy – for a green, fair and flourishing South of Scotland.

The Call for Project Ideas process aims to identify a short-list of skills projects to be supported by the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal. Projects should have a minimum Borderlands funding request of £1.5m and be located in the Scottish Borders and/or Dumfries and Galloway. Further information about the call is set out in the Guidance Note which can be downloaded below along with the application template.

Closing date 12 noon on Monday 4th November 2024
